Doug Sherman teaches this series about who God is and what life with Him can be like

Session One: Rethinking God
Session One: Rethinking God 17:47

Our walk with God cannot rise above our image of Him. Everything we do, the way we see ourselves, others, our work, and the formula for the best life possible is driven by this image of Him. That is why it is so important to see Him clearly.

Session Two: What is He Like?
Session Two: What is He Like? 20:14

To trade up and experience a rich life, we have to learn to live as though God is much bigger and much better than we ever imagined. It does no good to observe the attributes of God unless we live as though those attributes are true.

Session Three: A Perfect Father
Session Three: A Perfect Father 10:55

Some of us picture God as a critical moral policeman. Others see Him as distant or disgusted with our imperfections. Some see God as too busy for us, focused on more important things. The truth is that He is a loving Father passionate to give us the best life possible.

Session Four: Embracing the Truth and Rejecting Lies
Session Four: Embracing the Truth and Rejecting Lies 18:28

Your image of God is a mixture of truth and error. The more you live the truth and reject lies, the more joy, strength, and freedom you will experience.

Session Five: God’s Passion to Reveal Himself to Us
Session Five: God’s Passion to Reveal Himself to Us 19:53

God is passionate to reveal His true character and nature to us. Learning to see God’s glory, to see His greatness and His goodness, and then respond to Him in gratitude and adoration changes us.

Session Six: Trusting God When Life is Hard
Session Six: Trusting God When Life is Hard 12:28

Most of the wisdom, goodness, and power of God is unseen. We have to trust the unseen goodness as well as admire Him for the goodness that we see.
